Netflix, how I love thee.

I just marathoned through watching Chobits and now I'm watching Fruits Basket. Chobits was okay, but definitely not the best thing I've ever watched. I'm liking Fruits Basket a lot better, so much so I might need to read the manga....

Seems like Netflix has added a lot of new anime titles so now I got a list of things to watch. if anything I've got listed on here sucks, please tell me XD:

What is your favorite foreign film? Do you think there should be an American remake?

View 1126 Answers

Some of the best film's I've seen lately have been made by foreign directors. I finally got a chance to sit and watch "Let the Right One In", which is a Swedish movie about a vampire named Eli and his friend Oskar. Should there be an American remake? NO. But there is, called "Let Me In" and it must seriously be the most pointless remake ever.

Santa Sangre was a also an amazing horror film, in a really, really weird way. It's not an American film, but it was filmed spoken in English. Honestly, it's just one of those things you have to watch. Me explaining it wouldn't do any good. XD American remake? HELL NO.

I have to watch more foreign films, especially fantasy and horror. Hollywood can't do horror right worth shit anymore. Next two I have to watch are Pan's Labyrinth (which I've been wanting to see for years, but it's always escaped me) and the Devil's Backbone, which were directed by the same person, I believe. Also want to see Amelie and The Triplets of Belleville, lol.

If you were given the opportunity to spend two weeks in any country in the world free of charge, which country would you choose, and why?

Probably Austria. I could throw some shrimp on the barbie and pet a koala----

Oh, wait. --__--

Kidding, XD. Seriously, Austria has some of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen. I've wanted to visit there forever, and I seriously think I might cry if I never get a chance to before I kick the bucket.
